SAM IO

SAM IO is an innovative, battery-free intraosseous (IO) access tool designed for rapid, safe, and accurate delivery of fluids and medications via the bone marrow cavity. It is particularly valuable when conventional intravenous access is difficult, delayed, or impossible—such as in emergency care, intensive care, or pre-hospital settings.

The device operates manually. By activating the trigger, the needle is set into rotational motion, and gentle downward pressure allows it to penetrate the medullary cavity. During insertion, the user receives clear tactile feedback (“pop” sensation), confirming entry into the marrow space.
