SAM IO Stabilizer

SAM IO Stabilizer is an accessory designed to secure the intraosseous catheter and protect it from accidental displacement during or after insertion. Its cylindrical design provides reliable catheter stabilization, reducing the risk of complications and enhancing patient safety.

Application method:

• Slide the extension set through the Stabilizer cylinder and guide it over the catheter, positioning it against the patient’s skin.

• Ensure the catheter is centered within the Stabilizer.

• Hold the Stabilizer in place and remove adhesive backing by gently pulling Tab 1, then press the exposed adhesive onto the skin.

• Repeat the process with Tab 2, securing the remaining adhesive surface.

• Smooth down all adhesive areas to ensure firm and stable fixation.

By using the SAM IO® Stabilizer, clinicians can maintain secure catheter positioning and improve overall procedural safety, even in challenging environments.
