SAM IO Training Kit
The SAM IO Training Kit is designed to simulate intraosseous (IO) access using the original SAM IO system. It has been developed for professional training of healthcare providers and medical students working in emergency care, intensive care, and pre-hospital environments.
The components included in the kit allow for precise replication of the clinical insertion process: the needle is rotated manually by sequentially activating the trigger while applying gentle downward pressure. This enables trainees to recognize the tactile feedback and the characteristic “pop” sensation upon entering the medullary cavity, and to complete the full procedure from insertion to flushing.
All components in this kit are intended for training purposes only and are not suitable for clinical use.
